Clinic News
MedNOW is pleased to announce that it is now offering tele-medicine services in multiple states.  A tele-medicine visit is one in which the patient is able to stay home and video conference with the medical provider using a HIPAA-compliant platform, saving the patient both time and money.

MedNOW is offering tele-medicine services to patients located in Colorado and Nebraska and will soon be offering the same services to patients in Arizona, Kansas, Illinois and Iowa.  Dr. Nathan Moore is now licensed to practice medicine in all of these states.  More states will be coming soon!

If you live in one of these states and wish to have a tele medicine visit with Dr. Moore, please go to our tele-medicine portal to arrange for a visit.
Dr. Nathan Moore has recently obtained his Nebraska medical license and will start offering medical services to clients via MedNOW's tele-medicine platform.  Nebraska patients will be able to access the MedNOW tele-medicine portal and have a video appointment with Dr. Moore during regular business hours and after hours.

MedNOW is excited about its new tele-medicine platform and the ability to offer patients a video conference instead of a face-to-face visit.  As Dr. Moore and the other MedNOW providers become licensed in additional states, MedNOW will continue to grow its tele-medicine offering to other states as well, such as Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia and Minnesota.
MedNOW Clinics is happy to announce the addition of Dr. Ali Shah to our Denver clinic.  Dr. Shah is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine and is taking new patients.  He is a Suboxone provider and also has a special interest in providing medical options for weight loss.  Please feel free to make an appointment with Dr. Shah!
MedNOW Clinics is pleased to announce that Dr. Nathan Moore is now Board-certified in Addiction Medicine.  Already Boarded in Family Medicine, Dr. Moore took the Addiction Medicine Examination in November 2017 and passed.  In addition to seeing patients for traditional family medicine needs, Dr. Moore has been practicing addiction medicine for 5 years, including alcohol use disorders, opiate use disorders, stimulant (cocaine and methamphetamine) use disorders and benzodiazepine use disorders.  The MedNOW Clinic staff is well-versed in managing all of these patients and the clinic offers a robust detoxification program.  MedNOW also provides counseling services to our patients for substance use disorders.
Kybella is a prescription medication used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called double chin.  Learn more at MyKybella.com.
MedNOW Clinics in Aurora has now placed 10 probuphine implants in patients.  Probuphine is a buprenorphine implant placed in a patient's arm which provides treatment for opiate use disorder and opiate addiction.  Patients are falling in love with the implant which lasts for six months or longer and takes away the need to take a daily medication.  While daily medication can be lost or forgotten, the implant is always there, providing the treatment that patients with opiate use disorder and opiate addiction need.  The procedure to place the implant is quick - it can be done at a 20 minute office visit, and relatively painless, using only a small amount of local anesthesia.
